COVID-19 has rapidly affected almost every aspect of our lives, our society and our businesses, as Governments around the world have been forced to respond in substantial and unprecedented ways to help contain the risk. These measures have effectively paused large parts of our economy.
In response, the Commonwealth, along with state and territory governments have announced a range of support measures to try to keep businesses afloat and to keep workers in jobs so that we can restart quickly once COVID19 is under control. We have designed this guide to provide a general overview around what financial and regulatory relief governments are providing to businesses affected by COVID-19 and their employees, as well as answering some of the more common questions that are arising for businesses.
